Black River Driving School LLC is a southern Vermont based school founded in 2020. Owner/Instructor Matt McFarlin has 10 years of experience teaching driver education. Prior to opening B.R.D.S, Matt instructed for the American Automobile Association of Northern New England. A Vermont native, Matt has also instructed in New Hampshire and Maine in novice driver education as well as state mandated driver improvement programs, adaptive controls, mature operator evaluations and more. With well over 2,500 hours of behind the wheel instruction for students of all skill and experience levels, you can feel confident in our ability to fine tune every aspect of your driving. Matt is also proud to hold a 100% safety rating, having never sustained a traffic incident.
Black River Driving School is located in Chester, VT but gladly serves students from all over Vermont.
